Relaxation breaks on the way to the Sacré-Cœur are always welcome when you visit the hill of Montmartre, a steep neighborhood with narrow streets.
We have planned 3 self-guided walks of the Butte Montmartre, and for each of them, 13 to 25 points of interest. In addition, each walk is punctuated with relaxation breaks at the shops along the way.

What is a Relaxation Break?
These “Relaxation Breaks” are Coffee Breaks, Restaurant Breaks, Shopping Breaks, that is to say everything that might interest you along a guided and commented walk, in addition to the Points of Interest of the walk. This allows you to rest, taste or buy at recommended points noted with the quasi certainty of quality, without being ripped off by an indelicate trader (without making you). And since you are also on vacation, you can make the most of your time simply by mingling with the Parisians around the corner.

The shops we recommend are rated from 1 to 5 and we have eliminated from our lists the shops rated below 4.0 (with a few exceptions of 3.2 or 3.5, to show you the shops to avoid in particular). The merchants are rated by the tourists who preceded you on this route.
The shops selected in the end represent less than 50% of the shops present along the promenades. This means that following the indications of our lists allows you to avoid poor quality or service, the “tourist traps” that are regularly encountered in tourist places such as the Butte Montmartre.
