The Montaigne-Avenue in Paris is probably the artery where the great names of French and international fashion and Haute-Couture are most numerous. It’s a shopping dream for many tourists whose means match their prices. For others, it’s a chance to dream, and to visit the boutiques if you wish.

To make your visit easier, we’ve selected the 29 stores and merchants on Avenue-Montaigne (almost 80%) that have been rated by tourists who’ve been there before you.

And we’ve presented these stores in a variety of ways, for you to choose from:

• on a map,
• in the order they appear on your itinerary,
• but also by type of business (if your search is “specialized”),
• alphabetically, to search for a particular shop,
• with each merchant’s address, telephone number and a service quality rating (or appreciation) directly available on the map (Pop Up).

How we selected the 29 stores on Montaigne-Avenue

The stores we recommend are rated from 1 to 5, and we’ve eliminated from our lists those rated below 4.0 (with a few exceptions, 3.2 or 3.5, to show you which stores to avoid in particular). Merchants are rated by tourists who have preceded you on this Avenue-Montaigne itinerary.

Walk from Arc-de-Triomphe to Place de la Concorde, shopping and relaxation on Montaigne-Avenue

The Avenue-Montaigne “tour” can be done independently. But you can also “link” it to an idea for shopping on the Champs-Elysées and to the walk we’ve also published about it: “Arc-de-Triomphe – Place-de-la-Concorde walk along the Avenue des Champs-Elysées“. This would give you a comprehensive overview of Haute Couture, Fashion and Luxury in Paris, located in the area known as the “Golden Triangle”, bounded by Avenue Montaigne, the Champs-Elysées and George-V Avenue.

Of course, visiting and shopping on Avenue-Montaigne and the Champs-Elysées is no mean feat. How the “Avenue-Montaigne Map” works – Available information

• Click on “A propos -Visualiser les données” under the map next to its number (CECo2desc). You’ll get a list of recommended stores on the right-hand side of the map, sorted by “even no.” in blue, “odd no.” in red, by type of business (e.g. Watches/Jewelry/Eyeglasses).
• In the list on the right of the map, click on the store name to obtain its location on the map and its window with all the information on the store, in particular its address, telephone number and rating.
• To remove this list, click on “Fermer” at the top right of the map, and allows you to clear the map of the list of stores.
• By clicking on + or – (or with the mouse wheel), you can enlarge or reduce the map.
• Clicking on the map and moving the cursor moves the map within the window.
• Hovering the mouse over each marker displays the store name.
• Clicking (left mouse) on each marker opens a window with all the store’s information, including address, telephone number and customer rating.
