Page 3/6: Select the places you want to see or visit

  • Only the places matching your selected interests will appear in the list. Click Previous in the bottom left if you want to add another interest criterion.

  • In the same list, clicking a type of place (e.g. Museums) will display only that type of place on the map. "All" shows all places matching your interests.

  • You can also filter the places: All categories (resets all interest criteria), Areas (Choice), Within Paris (Intra-muros), Outside (beyond Paris, for example "L'Isle-Adam")

  • Click on the map markers: a Location window appears – you can “Add” it to your visit list or “View the location” (detailed sheet to help you add it to your list).

  • Below the map, all places matching your “interests” selection appear. Unselected places show “+ Add”. Once added, the label changes to “Selected”.

  • At the bottom right of the screen, your selected places appear in a list, with their count.

  • Click “Continue” or “Next”.

    • Click under the page title on "Organize smartly": all the places in your selection will be distributed across the days of your stay in a smart way, geographically grouped "by half-day" to avoid unnecessary travel.

  • You also get a map with "places" markers in the colors of each day, numbered with a "line" route between each of them.

  • You can also adjust the "position" of each visit within the day or between days by dragging and dropping the corresponding line.

  • Click on "Next".

You will receive the summary sheet for your trip to Paris, which you need to complete as follows:

  • Trip title: give your trip a name. If you want to try out multiple trip options, this will make it easier to keep track of them.

  • Your hotel address if you have one. If you haven’t booked your hotel yet, you can choose from our extensive list of hotels across all price ranges, located throughout Paris and even in the surrounding areas.

  • Next, complete your trip to Paris with "Prepare Your Stay":

    • Don’t forget to book your transportation: flights, trains, or car rentals.

    • Don’t forget to book your accommodation: in Paris or just outside the city (considering price and comfort).

    • Our self-guided walks in Paris: a substitute for a "human" guide. All points of interest in our database are used to create short, well-documented walks rich in historical facts and anecdotes about Paris.

    • Don’t forget to bring back souvenirs from Paris. We offer two types of high-quality souvenirs (not plastic Eiffel Towers) at affordable prices, designed to make your stay in Paris an unforgettable experience. These are "Photo Reports" of you and your family during your stay, taken by professional photographers. We also provide high-definition art photos of Paris, available in large and extra-large sizes to decorate your home.

  • You will then receive a list of visits organized by half-day segments.

  • Save your trip next: your entire "Trip" file will be stored in YOUR account and on our website. We will keep it for 6 months (renewable upon request). You can then consult it at your leisure, modify it, amend it, etc. You can save multiple trips to refine your final Paris itinerary without losing information from previous trips.

  • Export as PDF: another additional option that lets you store it on your computer or smartphone.

  • Click on "Finish" to view:

    • The complete itinerary with its map

    • Edit: to amend your trip

    • Share by creating a private or public sharing link

    • iCal: to add your trip schedule to your calendar
