How were the 100 Champs-Élysées shops chosen?

Every business is rated from 1 to 5 by tourists who walked the route before you, and anything below 4.0 was cut, apart from a few flagged at 3.2 or 3.5 to mark shops to specifically avoid. The final selection is fewer than 50% of the stores along the avenue or within 100 m of it, which helps you steer clear of poor-quality outlets and tourist traps.

How do I find a specific shop without crossing the avenue constantly?

The list is sorted by street number, with even numbers in blue and odd numbers in red, precisely so you don't keep crossing the Champs-Élysées. You can also browse addresses by type of business, such as Watches/Jewelry/Eyeglasses, or alphabetically to track down a particular merchant.

What information is shown for each shop on the map?

Clicking a shop's marker opens a pop-up with its full address, phone number, and the rating given by previous customers. The list to the right of the map also lets you click a name to locate that store, and the zoom controls (+/− or scroll wheel) help you explore the avenue in detail.

Is shopping the only thing this route is good for?

No. The Arc de Triomphe–to–Place de la Concorde route via the Champs-Élysées mixes "Shopping Breaks" with "Relaxation Breaks" such as cafés, restaurants, and art galleries, all rated by expected service quality. It's part of a wider self-guided walk that also lists the points of interest along the avenue.

Shopping on the Champs-Elysées is a dream for many tourists. And to make your visit easier, we’ve selected the 100 shops most popular with the tourists who came before you.

And we present these stores in a variety of ways, for you to choose from:

on a map,
in the order in which they appear on your route,
in the odd/even order of their address (to avoid constantly having to cross the avenue),
but also by type of business (if your search is “specialized”),
in alphabetical order to search for a particular merchant,
with each merchant’s address, telephone number and a rating for quality of service (or appreciation) directly available on the map (Pop Up).

How we selected the 100 stores featured

The shops we recommend are rated from 1 to 5, and we’ve eliminated from our lists those rated below 4.0 (with a few exceptions of 3.2 or 3.5, to let you know which shops to avoid in particular). Merchants are rated by tourists who have preceded you on this Champs-Elysées itinerary.

The shops selected in the end represent less than 50% of those along and in the immediate vicinity (within 100 m) of the promenade. This means that following the indications on our list will enable you to avoid the poor quality or services, the “tourist traps” that are regularly encountered in tourist areas such as the Champs-Elysées.

How the “Champs-Elysées card” works – Available information

You’ll get a list of recommended stores, sorted by their street number (“even no.” in blue, “odd no.” in red to avoid crossing all the time the Champs Elysées), by type of business (e.g. Watches/Jewelry/Eyeglasses). If instead you click on “Visualiser les données“, you get on the right all the stores we have listed.
In the list on the right of the map, click on the store name to obtain its location on the map and its window with all the information on the store, in particular its address, telephone number and rating.
To remove this list on the right, click on “Fermer” at the top right of the map, and allows you to clear the map of the list of stores.
By clicking on + or – (or with the mouse wheel), you can enlarge or reduce the map (Zoom).
Clicking on the map and moving the cursor moves the map within the window.
Hovering the mouse over each marker displays the store name.
Clicking (left click) on each marker opens a window with all the store’s information, including address, telephone number and customer rating.
