The Restaurant de l'Hôtel-des-Arts-et-Métiers is "hidden" in the Hôtel particulier des Ingénieurs Arts-et-Métiers, halfway between the Place de l'Etoile and the Eiffel Tower. Formerly a private club reserved only for members (Alumni) of the Association des Ingénieurs Arts-et-Métiers, this gastronomic restaurant "les Arts" is now open to all.
The restaurant "les Arts" of the Hôtel-des-Arts-et-Métiers
The restaurant "Les Arts" welcomes you in its different rooms. The tables, spaced and refined, guarantee discretion and comfort. The setting is prestigious. With its high ceilings and hushed atmosphere, the restaurant will seduce you with its elegance and its view of the Eiffel Tower.
The large dining room offers an exceptional setting for your lunches or dinners, and the 60-seat terrace is a popular meeting place in fine weather.
The restaurant des Arts is not only a prestigious setting. For your lunches or dinners, a traditional cuisine worthy of the top places of Parisian gastronomy is offered. The tables, spaced and refined, inside or on the terrace guarantee discretion and comfort.
The prices are very affordable for the quality of the dishes served and the environment of the rooms.
This restaurant was (and still is) a club reserved for the Alumni of the Arts et Métiers Engineers. But it is now open to a clientele of passage.
The building also includes meeting rooms, library and management of the engineers' association. The "La Rochefoucauld" conference room, ultra-connected and equipped with the latest technical and sound equipment, can accommodate up to 300 people.
In addition to meals, the restaurant also manages special events, rental of the restaurant for weddings, meetings, etc. To be invited to a reception in a Parisian private hotel is a privilege. You will be seduced by the soul of the house, the elegance of the salons, the breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower and the quality of the dinner.
The private mansion of the Arts et Métiers Engineers
The Hôtel d'Iéna has the charm of the private mansions of the late 19th century. Since 1925, it has been the "Maison des Ingénieurs des Arts et Métiers".
Since then, the hotel has been adapted to the "community" needs of the members of the Société des Ingénieurs des Arts et Métiers, which today has 33,000 members. Meals are served in one of the 9 lounges that have been regularly renovated, without altering the charm they originally had, for private use.
It is therefore a special experience that "clients" from outside the association can enjoy a quality meal at an affordable price in this elegant setting that does not exist anywhere else in Paris.
