Medieval townhouse that nearly vanished: Hôtel d’Ourscamp
Hôtel d’Ourscamp, also known as the Maison de Marsande or Maison de l’Ours, is a historic building located at 44 and 46 rue François-Miron, in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. The façade, roof, staircase, and cellar have been classified as historical monuments since 1966. This house is open to visitors.
Hôtel d’Ourscamp, an old medieval monks’ house rebuilt around 1585, is one of the oldest residences in Paris that can be visited. It was divided into three separate houses (now numbered 44, 46, and 48 rue François-Miron).
