Émile Léon-Joaillier is the last heir of the Léon family’s history. It all began in 1907 with David Léon, the first jeweller in the lineage. In 1945, Émile, the son of the first David, carried on the family tradition by taking over the workshop. A family of jewellers since 1907. Denis, the successor of the Léon dynasty, was the first to settle in Paris, the cradle of jewellery art. He became France’s youngest jewellery apprentice by earning his *Certificat d’Aptitude Professionnelle* in Jewellery in 1967. He opened his first workshop in 1976, his first boutique in 1979, a second in 1981 and a third in 1986. His legitimacy and expertise enabled him to open a fourth boutique on Rue Saint-Honoré, one of Paris’s most prestigious addresses. In 1998, Émile, Denis’s son, followed in his grandfather’s footsteps and began his jewellery apprenticeship.
