• Of all the available formats , we have opted for TIFF. The advantage of this format is its perfect rendering of the image after compression. We use this format despite the disadvantage of a lower compression rate than other formats, and the resulting higher “weight” in bytes.
  The often-used JPEG format allows high compression rates, but loses some of its visual qualities. This also means that if you make “cascading” uses of a JPEG photo, the quality of the photo will drop with each compression.

What’s the difference between HD collection photos and Fine art photos?

First of all, it should be noted that the same photographers supply both HD and fine art photos. But depending on inspiration and shooting conditions, one photo will be better than the next. In the end, a minority of shots becomes an art photo.

HD photos are sold in digital form. The advantage of this is that they are immediately available, with no transport problems since they are delivered in digital form to your cell phone or computer.

Conversely, the fine art photos we offer are delivered as complete paintings, with frame and various accessories.

What’s more, for a fine art photo, we carefully follow the photo production process – photo by photo – with the professional we’re used to working with. The entire manufacturing process is meticulously checked.

For HD photos, the quality check is carried out at the level of the digital photo file and the result obtained on our computer equipment. After that, we have no control over the print run or digital use, as it is your responsability.

Each HD photo is authenticated by a separate document from its author, who recalls the name and characteristics of the photo, certifies that he is its author and signs it.

Each fine art photograph is personally checked and signed by its author before being dispatched. The photo is numbered in order of order. No more than 30 copies may be reproduced worldwide over time.

Of course, the amount of work involved in each option is not comparable. Hence part of the difference between the prices of each option.
