Famous for his macaroon creations, which he wants to bring into the world of luxury, he was named best pastry chef in the world in 2016, by the World's 50 Best Restaurants academy. He is the author of some forty books devoted to pastry, including his autobiography, Toutes les saveurs de la vie, published in 2022.
President of the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie since 2019, he is also known to the general public for his participation for five seasons in Le Meilleur Pâtissier - Les Professionnels, broadcast on M6.
Today, Pierre Hermé Paris is an international patisserie and chocolate group, with almost eighty boutiques in some fifteen countries.
