Full description

Patrick Roger chocolatier is a master chocolatier who fears nothing. With the opening of his new boutique on Place de la Madeleine in Paris, chocolatier Patrick Roger displays large chocolate sculptures that resemble an exotic jungle: a boutique museum!

Patrick Roger chocolatier with the distinction of Meilleur Ouvrier de France

This Meilleur Ouvrier de France is an extravagant and inspired artist. In his quest for excellence, he makes no concessions.

The all-flower honey in his caramels comes from the beehives on the chocolate factory roof! His "Couleurs" chocolate bonbons offer subtle combinations. Creamy caramel, verbena and yuzu for the slate-colored "Sauvage", or caramel, vinegar and grape for the buttercup-yellow "Rafale". Or why not succumb to the evocative names of "Jalousie", "Insolence", "Fantasme" or "Marie Galante"?

Superb chocolate sculptures. Excellent chocolates. Pralines very good, ginger dark chocolate exceptional, orangettes terrible! Expensive, but you have to treat yourself to this taste experience.

A chocolate mine in the basement

In the basement, the famous chocolatier offers a cocoa mine: high walls of dark gold sprinkled with the chocolatier's famous lemon-basil-scented Couleurs bonbons. Soft, curved shapes and subdued lighting reinforce the cave-like atmosphere...

If you can't eat the sculptures, don't worry: the ground-floor boutique sells Patrick Roger's miniature collections!

A mine of Chocolate above all, but also a mine of shapes, materials and colors... home to collections of miniatures to be savored, as well as sculptures in chocolate, bronze or aluminum, a true passion of the artist chocolatier.

Everything is beautiful

Everything is beautiful and good to look at, touch or eat, because as long as there's Chocolate at Patrick Roger's, there's Art! The space itself is a cocoon of raw aluminum alveoli, a hymn to eternal nature and also to the bees that the artist worships and cultivates for their honey, of course, but also and always with a view to the biodiversity so essential to preserving our beautiful and generous planet.

The space is soft, enveloped in curved shapes, a little like an oxygen bubble in the heart of the city, a sphere to dream about and enjoy, a planet dedicated exclusively to Art and Chocolate!

Three levels of exhibition

Three levels to astonish, transport and lose ourselves in Patrick Roger's fabulous world... from the mine in the basement, whose walls are covered in raw chocolate and which, like nuggets, exhibits a selection of sculptures in bronze and aluminium with astonishing lines... to the first floor, dedicated to the pleasure of tasting and collections of sweets with precious and original flavours. "Here, the entire palette of the chocolatier is expressed in a variation of incredible ranges, like miniature sculptures chiselled from the very material of taste!" to end on the second floor with the latest creations, sculptures carved and shaped by the master from the very material of chocolate....

A giant "root tree" runs through the whole, piercing the floors, emerging from the depths of the earth to reach the light, and on which an army of monkeys seems to be watching us, taunting us, inviting us to share with them the pleasures of creation!
