Free entrance
The Louvre is free for all on the first Friday of the month after 6pm (except July and August) and on July 14th- But reservations are required at www.ticket.louvre.fr

Under 18s : Upon presentation of official identification.
Under 26 and resident in a European Economic Area country: Upon presentation of an official identity document.

Museum closed on Tuesdays
Public holidays: the Musée du Louvre is closed on January 1, May 1 and December 25. It is open on all other public holidays.

9am to 6pm Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
9am to 9pm Wednesday and Friday
Visit duration : 2h30 à 3h (about 1 month/8 hours a day if your want to stop 20 secondes for each item)
