Le Poulbot-Restaurant is a family affair. Twins Thomas and Mathieu Bellair have taken over and renovated the small dining room of Le Poulbot restaurant, and the charming exterior fresco has been given a facelift. Their grandparents used to live on the Butte, opposite the Moulin de la galette.
Mathieu did his first internship at the Plazza Athénée, and spent a year working with a Michelin-starred chef at the Édouard VII theater. Sometimes the twins have worked together in the same kitchen, at Le Square restaurant on rue Marcadet, or at the luxury brasserie Montparnasse 1900.
They offer an evolving menu based on traditional French cuisine, sometimes incorporating products from "elsewhere". Flavor and freshness guaranteed, and very reasonable prices. A wide choice of craft beers and a fine wine list (selection of biodynamic and 100% natural wines).
This restaurant is located in one of the most romantic and pleasant areas of Paris, on the Butte Montmartre, a stone's throw from the famous Place du Tertre. Like its neighborhood, Restaurant Poulbot is both chic and bohemian, romantic and distinguished. The unusual exterior catches the eye, and the interior invites you back for more. The service is pleasant. The French cuisine is of the highest quality. Of particular note is the dish of the day, a traditional cuisine that varies according to availability, as it is composed exclusively of seasonal products accompanied by wonderful wines. Worth considering;
- Escargots Poulbot style
- Duck confit, red wine coulis and home fries
- Fish of the day, seasonal vegetables
- Crème Brulée with Tonka beans
and for starters:
- Onion soup au gratin
- Half-cooked duck foie gras with red wine coulis
- Red onion marmalade and all our simple yet original starters
not forgetting an assortment of desserts as beautiful as they are delicious, made with fresh fruit, milk or chocolate, and prepared according to recipes we've carefully kept.
