Medieval houses of the Marais of the 15th century with half-timberings
Medieval houses, 11-13 rue François Miron
The 1967 restoration sought to restore the buildings to their original condition at the beginning of the 16th century. A royal edict of 1607 had ordered that the timber frames of Parisian houses be covered with plaster to prevent fires. The two medieval-style houses now feature exposed wooden timbers.
