Hôtel d’Aumont, 150 ans d’utilisation privée puis 200 ans au service de l’Etat
To the right of the Hôtel de Sens, the French garden is accessible (to view) via a path (open 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.). This path leads to the Hôtel d'Aumont, which houses the administrative court and was built by François Mansart.
On the other side of Rue du Figuier, the garden leads to the MIJE youth hostel at 11 Rue du Fauconnier (you must arrive in the morning).
The Paris Administrative Court moved there in 1959. In 2003, the remains of Queen Arégonde were found in a strongbox at the Hôtel d'Aumont, where Michel Fleury, as vice-president of the municipal commission for Old Paris, had an office until the 1970s.
