Paris is more than just the City of Light—it’s the dream backdrop for unforgettable photos. Whether you’re celebrating an engagement, a family travel, a solo travel, or just want those Instagram-famous shots, a professional photo shoot here turns everyday moments into life-long memories. But not every spot is equally magical: some are crowded, others lack style, and hidden gems exist that most tourists miss.
The best images tell a story. If you are in Paris with your family or partner, isn’t this the perfect opportunity to capture the story of your Parisian getaway with high-quality photos taken by a professional? We offer a photo report so that you can leave with your story in high-definition photos designed to last 75 to 100 years without aging. They can also be made into large decorative photos to hang on the walls of your living room. An unforgettable memory that will stay with you for the rest of your life.
Our report on your visit to Paris: a memory for life with artistic photos that will last 100 years
We do not see the point in offering you photos that you could take with your compact camera or cell phone. It is why we have chosen the highest quality available in the field of professional photography you will not get with your own equipment :
- Our photos are taken by seasoned professionals with extensive photographic and artistic experience
- All photos at the end of the selection process are high definition (300 dpi resolution standard), digital, and in the best format available (TIF). If you want to print them on rigid media, you will get large-format art photos (50×60 cm as standard and larger on request) to decorate your home with your memories of Paris. However, you will need to choose your service provider carefully for their expertise in art photography.
- If you are unsure whether you will have such a photographic service after your return, we can take care of printing the art prints you want, with the guarantee that all the rules for maintaining the high quality of the photos will be applied throughout the entire manufacturing process.
- The quality of the artwork, materials, and inks used by our supplier is such that our photos have a lifespan of 75 to 100 years. This guarantees that your unique memories of Paris will be with you throughout your life.
Simplicity et flexibility of our photo reporting
You arrange to meet one of our professional photographers at one, two, or three locations in Paris that you choose—or that we suggest. You hire his or her services for 11/2 hours, 2, 3, or even 4 hours. He will have time to take 50 to 150 photos or more, in the poses that suit you, with Paris as the background of your choice.
What happens next ? The next day, you will have access to YOUR PESONAL ACCOUNT open on our site via a password to see all the photos taken during the reporting – in digital format.
You choose your 10, 20, or 30 favorite photos depending of your purchase option and you let us know. That’s all you have to do. The rest is up to us.
We will re-edit the chosen photos (Photos retouched if necessary) in digital form, in high definition and in TIF photographic format. These technical choices are not purely formal: they allow you to keep and use the photos you have purchased forever, without altering the image quality at any stage of the present or future processing by professionals. You can even send these digital photos by mail without loosing theit photographic qualities.
Your final chosen photos will be available at your disposal on you personal account for XXXX days.
But what to do with the digital HD photos waiting on you personnal account ? Click here on URL à faire
Note
The HD photos you will receive are souvenirs that can be used directly on digital devices (TV, frame, PC, etc.) or as physical prints for interior decoration. In this case, you must let us know before the photos are taken (at the order) if you would like some of them in very large sizes (greater than 50 cm on each side). This will need to be taken into account in the camera settings in order to obtain resolutions that comply with HD standards (300 dpi), even with these large sizes.
Step 1 to order : Choose the best suited time in your planning of visit of Paris

What are the best times of the day to take photos in Paris?
Tips: Timing Is Everything : Golden hour (an hour before sunset) provides soft, flattering light. Sunrise guarantees quiet but it can be cold—dress warmly. Avoid harsh midday shadows between 11am–3pm. Light can make or break your Paris photos.
Sunrise (5:30–7:30 AM)
– Perfect for empty streets with gentle light.
– Best at: Trocadéro, Montmartre, Palais Royal, Ille Saint-Louis.
– In winter, sunrise is later (8–9 AM).
Golden Hour (1 hour before sunset)
– Warm glow and long shadows.
– Shoot at: Rue Crémieux, Canal Saint-Martin, Pont des Arts, Luxembourg Gardens.
Blue Hour (30 min after sunset)
– Moody colors and city lights.
– Best for: Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, Palais Garnier, river bridges.
– Use a tripod for long exposures.
Midday (10 AM–4 PM)
– Tough for exteriors—shadows are harsh.
– Focus on interiors, covered passages, or close-ups.
Night (After 9 PM)
– Great for illuminated landmarks and vibrant nightlife.
– Top shots: Champs-Élysées, Moulin Rouge, Pigalle, Eiffel Tower with sparkling lights.
– Use a fast lens (f/1.8 or wider) for sharp low-light images.
Step 2 to order: Where to take photos in Paris – Photogenic places in Paris to choose
If you want to capture several different locations in your report, choose places that are close to each other. This will save you time, which is time you can spend shooting. Especially since there are so many photo spots in Paris, and they are so close together, that it is possible to get around on foot. That is why, in addition to the list of “photogenic” locations (Click on Seasonal Paris Photography: What to Shoot & When), you will find below a map of Paris to help you locate them.
Click on Seasonal Paris Photography: What to Shoot & When : c’est le texte ci-dessous jusqu’à 12. Passy’s Rooftops: A Local’s Secret – 75016 qui pourrait être normalement caché, sauf en cliquant – nous pourrions aussi en plus, l’utiliser comme un post indépendant pour ref. dans Google

1. Eiffel Tower – The Ultimate Paris Photo (But Where to Stand?) – The Tocadéro: The Classic Eiffel Tower View – 75007
The postcard-perfect panorama of the Eiffel Tower from Trocadéro’s fountains remains unbeatable. Golden hour (an hour or two before sunset) brings out the best light, while sunrise offers peace and solitude. The lower terrace at Place du Trocadéro is an insider choice for fewer crowds. In 2024, Olympic renovations made the gardens more spacious, with fresh flowers around the fountains for vibrant photos.
For the iconic postcard shot, arrive early (6–7 AM) or late (after 9 PM in summer) to catch either the sunrise glow or an empty platform. For a fresher view, shoot from the lower level by the fountains.
Other Best Spots for Eiffel Tower Photos:
- Champ de Mars: Perfect for low-angle shots walking toward the tower. Sunrise offers soft light and very few people.
- Rue de l’Université: A quiet side street with a centered tower view; best in golden hour.
- Pont de Bir-Hakeim: This bridge gives a dramatic, symmetrical perspective. Go at blue hour (about 30 minutes after sunset) for city lights with the tower in the background.
- Avenue de Camoëns: Framed by Parisian architecture with trees that bloom in spring and turn golden in autumn.
- Other views of the Eiffel Tower are also very interesting for photographers: directly from the gardens at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
Avoid: Midday for harsh light and overcrowding, and weekends around Trocadéro.
2. Montmartre – The Bohemian Heart of Paris and its Hidden Alleys Without the Crowds – 75018
While Sacré-Cœur’s steps are always lively, Montmartre’s cobbled lanes like Rue de l’Abreuvoir or Passage des Abbesses offer vintage scenery rarely crowded. Quaint cafés, ivy walls, and art studios create a romantic, cinematic vibe. Featuring Le Consulat Café (18 Rue Norvins, 75018 Paris) in your frames guarantees that classic Montmartre touch.
Montmartre’s winding lanes, artsy corners, and views of the Sacré-Cœur cathedral can be packed later in the day, so timing your shoot is key.
Best Spots in Montmartre:
- Sacré-Cœur Steps: Go early, right at sunrise (5:30–6:30 AM), for empty steps and perfect light.
- Rue de l’Abreuvoir: Instagram’s favorite street for its pink houses and winding lane. Best before 8 AM.
- Place du Tertre: Lively in the afternoon, but empty and magical before 7 AM.
- 54 Rue Lepic (Apartment of Vincent and Theo Van Gogh): Cobblestones and painterly charm.
- Montmartre Vineyard: A green break in the city, most beautiful in September.
Avoid: Midday weekends and peak hours on Rue de l’Abreuvoir
3. Palais Royal: Minimalist Elegance with a Twist – 75001
Best known for its black-and-white striped Buren columns (Galerie de la Cour d’Honneur, 2 Rue de Montpensier, 75001 Paris) and geometric gardens, Palais Royal brings style and contrast for fashion-inspired shoots. The Comédie-Française adds a theatrical backdrop. Blue hour—just after sunset—is ideal for moody, dramatic photos. Tripods are generally not allowed, so prepare to handhold.
Palais Royal is famous for its monochrome columns and manicured gardens—less busy than the Louvre, but just as photogenic.
Best Spots in Palais Royal:
- Colonnades de Buren: Stripey columns look best at golden or blue hour.
- Jardin du Palais Royal: Symmetrical and tranquil, especially at sunrise.
- Cour d’Honneur: Look for reflections after rain for minimalist shots.
Avoid: Weekend crowds and midday sun.
4. Louvre Museum and Pyramid – How to Photograph It Without the Crowds – 75001
The Louvre Pyramid combines classic and modern Paris in one frame, but 30,000 visitors a day can make clean shots tough.
Best Spots for Louvre Photos:
- Cour Napoléon: Go before 8 AM or after 7 PM to have the glass pyramid all to yourself. Sunrise brings the best light.
- Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel: Higher up, giving you a wide shot including palace and pyramid—ideal at blue hour.
- Jardin des Tuileries Side: Less crowded for a side angle, especially at golden hour.
- Passage Richelieu: For a creative pyramid reflection and underground vibe.
Avoid: Midday crowds and the first Sunday of each month when the museum is free but packed.
5. Notre-Dame & Île de la Cité – Dramatic Gothic Views – 75004
Despite the ongoing restoration, Notre-Dame remains photogenic and the island setting is gorgeous from any angle.
Best Spots for Notre-Dame Photos:
- Square Jean XXIII: A small garden behind the cathedral, ideal at sunrise.
- Pont de l’Archevêché: The classic façade shot; best before 7 AM or after 8 PM.
- Quai de Montebello: Low-angle river shots, especially at blue hour.
- Place Dauphine: Old-world charm and less foot traffic—great for street scenes with Notre-Dame as a backdrop.
Pro Tip: For a panoramic view, head to Hôtel de Ville rooftop (when accessible). After rain, shoot on Quai des Célestins for dreamy reflections.
Avoid: Weekends and midday in summer for heavy crowds and harsh light.
6. Bridges
Alexandre III bridge (75008), Pont des Arts (75006), Pont Bir Hakeim (75015), Passerelle Leopold Sedar Senghor (75001 – 75007), Passserelle Debilly (75007), Pont Neuf (and Vert-Galand Square) (750014
6. Île Saint-Louis: The Secret Riverfront Escape – 75004
Skip the crowds at Île de la Cité and discover Île Saint-Louis where pastel buildings and peaceful Seine views reign. The Pont Saint-Louis bridge is great for soft golden-hour portraits, and Berthillon ice cream makes for candid, joyful moments. Square Barye is ideal for blending green scenery with river reflections.
7. Passage des Panoramas – Vintage Paris Vibes – 75002
Step into the 19th century with this covered market lined with postcard shops, old bistros, and mirrored shopfronts. It’s full of textures and nostalgic colors.
Best Time to Shoot: Early morning (8–9 AM) for soft light, or on rainy days for atmospheric photos.
Pro Tip: Reflections in puddles add depth.
8. Rue Crémieux – The Rainbow Street – 75012
This pastel pedestrian lane is a favorite for photographers thanks to its vibrant townhouses and adorable details.
Best Time: Shoot at golden hour or on a quiet weekday morning.
Pro Tip: The perspective from Rue de Bercy gives dynamic leading lines. Spring blooms and autumn leaves add extra charm.
9. La Campagne à Paris – A Secret Village inside Paris – 75020
In the 20th arrondissement, this peaceful cluster of stone houses and gardens feels miles from the city.
Best Time: Sunrise or late afternoon for warm, gentle light.
Pro Tip: Stroll down Rue Irénée Blanc for the most photogenic alley.
10. Canal Saint-Martin: Urban Parisian Life, Trendy & Laid-Back – 75010 – 75019
Iron footbridges, vintage boats, and colorful street art set a modern mood. Rue de Marseille glows in morning light. Picnics on the banks are totally photogenic—some photographers even bring blankets for a cozy touch. A favorite among locals, this canal’s iron bridges, houseboats, and street art make for lively lifestyle photos.
Best Time: Early morning for mist, or sunset (7–9 PM in summer) for golden light.
Best Angles: Pont des Recettes for canal perspectives; Quai de Jemmapes for boats and graffiti; Bassin de la Villette for urban scenes.
Pro Tip: On Sundays, the quays are car-free—perfect for architectural and lifestyle shots.
11. Luxembourg Gardens: Timeless Elegance – 75006
The Medici Fountain and lush orchards make Luxembourg Gardens a regal setting, especially in bloom from April to June. The iconic green chairs add playful charm to family and engagement shoots. Weekends get busy, so try weekday mornings. The orchard and apiary corners are quieter and enchanting in spring.
12. Passy’s Rooftops: A Local’s Secret – 75016
Rue de Passy offers secret rooftop views of the Eiffel Tower, away from crowds, and the Square de l’Avenue Foch features a secluded garden with tower glimpses. Uncover exclusive angles by scouting private hotel terraces—some properties allow shoots for a fee.
Step 2 to order – Option – Photo walks in Paris
We can also organise private strolls through Paris with a professional photographer. We have a favorite itinerary: the Louvre, Palais Royal, Pont des Arts, Tuileries Garden… (all on foot). However, other customized tours are available upon request: the Marais district, Montmartre, the Eiffel Tower, the banks of the Seine, the Trocadéro, a Parisian park, etc. This is your chance to have your picture taken by a professional photographer in front of Paris’s most beautiful monuments and the capital’s must-see sites.
Finally our website features self-guided walking tours throughout tourist Paris. These walks always start and end near a monument or museum and wind through the streets of the capital, passing 25 to 35 points of historical or anecdotal interest along the way: most of them are opportunities for great, very “Parisian” photos. You can arrange to meet one of our photographers at a specific point along the route. You choose to walk together for the part of the route that interests you, while taking photos of your stay in Paris. We have 10 walks available.
