Pont de l’Archevêché, the narrower bridge of Paris

This bridge is the narrowest in Paris. It was built in 1828 by engineer Plouard for the Société du Pont des Invalides, following the demolition of the Invalides suspension bridge. In 1850, the City of Paris bought out the concessionaire.
