Pierre Hermé worked for Fauchon Paris and Ladurée, among others, before launching his eponymous house in 1997. Pierre Hermé Paris became the world’s first luxury pâtisserie.
Renowned for his macaron creations, which he elevated to the realm of luxury, he was named the world’s best pastry chef in 2016 by the *World’s 50 Best Restaurants* academy. He has authored around forty books on pastry, including his 2022 autobiography *Toutes les saveurs de la vie*.
President of the World Pastry Cup since 2019, he is also well-known to the general public for his five-season participation in *Le Meilleur Pâtissier - Les Professionnels*, broadcast on M6.
Today, Pierre Hermé Paris is an international pâtisserie and chocolate group, with nearly eighty boutiques in around fifteen countries.
