Champs-Elysées Hotels – Choice, affordable prices for your Paris stay

Champs-Elysées Hotels. There are many on the Champs-Elysées, but they are expensive and not always worth the price. We have made a study that will allow you to choose the hotel that suits you best in this luxury and tourist area that are the Champs-Elysees. We finally have selected 51 of them, listed below and located on our Champs-Elysées map.

How did we make our pre-selection of the Champs-Elysées Hotels?

We reviewed almost all the hotels on the Champs-Elysées and within 200 to 300 meters on either side of the Avenue. We have retained about 60% of the hotels by eliminating all those whose evaluation by tourists who have preceded you in these establishments, was lower than 4.0 on a scale of 0 to 5. In the end, our list includes 51 hotels to date, which can be modified according to the evolution of the quality of hotels in the area.

How did we define the selected hotels to help you choose?

The 3 elements of reference to characterize the hotels are

3 other ratings that should interest you

Finally, we thought it would be useful to add 3 “technical” ratings in order to better understand the hotel you are going to select:

These 3 additional ratings between 0 and 5.0 are found in the “Comments” column.

What value should be attributed to these criteria and the others that we used?

We have retained only recent ratings (less than a year old) and numerous ratings (several dozen) for the same establishment. What’s more, these ratings need to be qualified: for example, a 2* hotel rated 4.5 will never be equivalent to a 5* hotel also rated 4.5. You need to compare these “experience ratings” for the same number of stars.

Where to find the hotel ratings

You will find the general rating, the number of stars and the price in the form of Rating / nbr* / Price in the label of each hotel or in the 4th column of the comparative table. The 3 additional “technical” notes are located at the top of the comments of the tourists who preceded you.

Call for your own evaluation: we need your help to continue to inform future visitors who will follow you to Paris. It will only take a few minutes. We have an information sheet about the hotel where you stayed. Click here to view

How the map works and how to use the list of hotels

List of recommended hotels in the Champs-Elysées area with comments and quality ratings

[table id=10en /]

Remarks: Note the impressive number of 5* and 4* hotels located near the Champs-Élysées, while the 3* hotels are few, and the 2* almost non-existent. This is due to the fame of the place and the international clientele used to luxury and the corresponding rates.

TIP: in order to get cheaper 2, 3 or 4* hotels, you just have to move a few hundred meters away from the Champs-Elysées avenue. The means of transportation are always present to move you around … so you can stroll as well on the Champs-Elysees!

For those who want to stay in another district than the Champs-Elysées: the list of hotels recommended by VPBY and visualized on “district” maps

Paris is divided into 20 arrondissements, each of which is divided into 4 administrative districts, for a total of 80 administrative districts. But Paris is also divided into 16 “historical” districts, including the Montmartre district which covers the 18th, 9th and 10th arrondissements. (See URL)

From a tourist point of view, the 16 historical districts are the most interesting. That’s why we are progressively providing our visitors with all the information for each of the historic districts, in particular the self-guided walks and everything related to accommodation. This is a very important point for all those who come to visit Paris.
Our goal is not limited to Montmartre: the whole of Paris is (or will be) covered district by district, in order to let you know the best hotels in Paris at affordable prices and the most beautiful district walks with live commentary via your mobile.

For the moment this part of the site is under construction. Only URLs are available …

The visit of Paris on foot: our guided walks

Paris can be visited on foot, because the distances of our walks are small (1,5 to 2 km) and the density of “things to see” is unimaginable (and cannot be seen by passing at 50 km/h by car).
We have already set up a few dozens of beautiful, detailed and complete walks of the capital of France thanks to our Self-Guided Walks. (URL).
