These meals are a little more hearty and above all offer more sophisticated and artistically decorated dishes. Meals at restaurants often take place in the evening, starting at 8:30pm at the earliest and going on until late in the evening (often past midnight). The New Year’s meal is an opportunity for guests to wish each other all the best for the New Year. A dance floor is sometimes provided (or improvised) between the tables.
