Located between Bastille and Nation, in a former foundry in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, the Atelier des Lumières holds monumental immersive exhibitions. Using 140 video projectors and a spatialised sound system, the highly unique multimedia equipment covers a total surface area of 3,300 m², extending from the floors to the ceilings and over walls up to 10 metres high.

Orsay Museum, impressionists, from 1848 to 1914
The Musée d’Orsay, occupies the former Gare d’Orsay (Orsay Rail Road), built for the 1900 Universal Exhibition. The building, inaugurated for the occasion, is itself a work of art. The museum, which opened to the public on December 9, 1986, presents works of art covering the period from 1848 to 1914, including collections of paintings, sculptures, decorative arts, photographs, graphic arts and architecture.
The museum houses the world’s largest collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings, with works by Cézanne, Degas, Manet, Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh and many others. Pompidou Museum - 20 and 21st century art
The Centre Pompidou, designed by architects Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers, is a marvel of 20th century architecture, recognizable by its exterior escalators and enormous colored pipes.
It houses the National Museum of Modern Art, a world reference for its collections of 20th and 21st century art.
The works of major artists are divided chronologically into two areas: the modern period from 1905 to 1960 (Matisse, Picasso, Dubuffet …) and the contemporary period from 1960 to today (Andy Warhol, Niki de Saint Phalle, Anish Kapoor …).
In addition to these permanent collections, Musée Pompidou is internationally renowned for its temporary exhibitions.

Quay Branly museum - Jacques Chirac, museum of Arts Premiers
The Quai Branly museum – Jacques Chirac, is located on the banks of the Seine, near the Eiffel Tower. It is dedicated to showing the importance of the Arts and Civilizations of Africa, Asia, Oceania, and the Americas, at the crossroads of multiple cultural, religious, and historical influences.

Orangerie Museum, Claude Monet and other painters to be seen
Orangerie museum is known for the Water Lilies of Claude Monet that it shelters. The Water Lilies cycle occupied Claude Monet for three decades, from the end of the 1890s, until his death in 1926, at the age of 86.
Orangerie museum also contains in its basement the Jean Walter and Paul Guillaume collection, devoted to the great names of the 20th century: Renoir, Cézanne, Matisse, Picasso, Soutine and a few others. They are paintings of the Impressionist (XIXe) and Modernisme (XXe) periods.
Outside of the building are also sculptures by Rodin and a few others.

Rodin museum, masterpieces by Auguste Rodin and Camille Claudel
The Rodin Museum, created in 1919 on Auguste Rodin’s initiative, is located at the Hôtel Biron in Paris.
The museum, housing some 6,800 sculptures and numerous other works of art, attracts 700,000 visitors a year. The three-hectare sculpture garden surrounds the 18th-century manor house, in perfect harmony with the works on display.
Rodin, a renowned sculptor, was also a draughtsman, engraver, ceramist and passionate collector. His collaboration with Camille Claudel, his pupil and muse, is also highlighted in the museum. A room dedicated to Claudel houses several of his works, including “La Vieillesse,” “Clotho” and “Vertumne et Pomone.”
The adjoining museum in Meudon, 30 km from Paris, includes Rodin’s residence, workshops and park, allowing total immersion in his world. The museum also sells faithful reproductions of Rodin’s works, made from the original molds.
